If you are low income and meet the Federal standards for poverty established by the United States Health and Human Services, you could be eligible for a new lower price lifeline transit pass. The discounted 31-Day YCATPass will be available at the rate of $30.00 instead of paying $60.00. For those who are students (ages 5 through 18), seniors (age 65 and older), persons with disabilities and Medicare card holders would be able to obtain the lifeline 31-Day YCATPass for $15.00 instead of $30.00. Non-profit organizations will be able to request donated YCAT DayPasses or purchase YCAT fare media at 50% off the normal fare.

Leave the driving to us for “progressive dinner” tour where you’ll sample field-fresh Yuma bounty and fare prepared with border flair. The “Savor Yuma” tours will take you on a culinary quest through a variety of venues with a convivial group.

YCATPasses can now be purchased at San Luis City Hall Utilities Department, located at 1063 East Union Street in San Luis. Hours of operation is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and City Hall is accessible via Yellow Route 95.
Passes that can be purchased here include 10-Ride and 31-Day YCATPasses as well as YCAT OnCall 10-RidePasses.

Green Route 4 and Purple Route 6/6A will NO LONGER serve the former inside Sonora Sunset bus stop. The nearest bus stop for Purple Route 6/6A is on eastbound 24th Street @ nearside Sonora Sunset driveway. The nearest bus stop for Green Route 4 is on westbound 24th Street @ across the street from the Sonora Sunset driveway. We aplogize for any inconvenience this change may cause.

New trolleys are here! Look for them on Red Route 1, Orange Route 2, Brown Route 3, Green Route 4 or Purple Route 6. If you board a trolley on these routes in December, your ride is FREE! Trolleys will also be used on HolidayCAT and special events. We hope you enjoy your ride on YCAT's new trolley vehicles.

Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) and Yuma Community Food Bank will partner on holding the 2nd Stuff the Bus food drive to drive away hunger in Yuma County. Starting on Monday, November 4, 2013 through Saturday, December 20, 2013, any time someone brings a non-perishable food donation on board a Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT) bus, a free ride would be provided.
