The Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization (YMPO) and the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) are conducting an online survey to determine where future transit service will best meet the needs of the Yuma County community, and to make service more attractive to more people.

YCATPasses can now be purchased at all APS office locations in San Luis and Yuma, all Circle K locations throughout Yuma County including Yuma, Somerton, Wellton and San Luis and Gonzo's Super Save USA in Winterhaven.

Passes that can be purchased at these vendors include 10-Ride and 31-Day YCATPasses as well as YCAT OnCall 10-RidePasses.

Before 1998, only private transportation companies operated any type of transit service in Yuma County, with taxis serving the urbanized areas and private van services providing transportation between San Luis and Yuma.

To celebrate 15 years of public transit service in Yuma County that was started by the Yuma Metropoltian Planning Organization (YMPO), YCIPTA and Yuma County Chamber of Commerce is having a mixer to celebrate!  We invite you to join us!

Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) will hold a public hearing regarding the modification of the YCAT fare structure on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at Aldrich Hall, located at the Yuma County Department of Development Services, 2351 West 26^th Street, Yuma. Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) will hold a public hearing regarding the adoption of a public participation plan on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at Aldrich Hall, located at the Yuma County Department of Development Services, 2351 West 26^th Street, Yuma. This location is accessible via YCAT Red 1, Green 4, Purple 6/6A, Yellow 95 and YCAT OnCall by making a reservation to 928-783-2235.  The goal of this plan is to achieve greater public input and to make interested members of the public aware of all opportunities for input in the public transportation planning process.

Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) has been advised that the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 1433 and First Transit will continue its negociations in March 2013.   If a work stoppage was to occur in the future, additional details on YCAT's contingency plans are detailed below:
