Public Hearing on Amended Fare Policy

PROPOSED FARE MODIFICATION TO YUMA COUNTY AREA TRANSIT

Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (YCIPTA) will hold a public hearing regarding the modification of the YCAT fare structure on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at Aldrich Hall, located at the Yuma County Department of Development Services, 2351 West 26th Street, Yuma. This location is accessible via YCAT Red 1, Green 4, Purple 6/6A, Yellow 95 and YCAT OnCall by making a reservation to 928-783-2235. 

Details on the proposed fare modification are below:

Description

Regular (Basic)

  • Ages 19-64 years old
  • Youth ages 5-18 years old without student ID

Discount

  • Seniors age 65 & older
  • Persons with Disabilities
  • Medicare Card Holders
  • ADA Certified
  • Student ages 5-18 years old with school ID

Express

Commuter routes for all fare categories

Additional details on the proposed changes can be obtained at the YCIPTA offices, on board YCAT buses or by contacting YCIPTA.
